I am so sorry,I bought some bits and a small loco at the Tolworth exhibition. On returning home I thought the loco was well over priced and in a temper somewhere I did a
negative review but on checking the box it was DCC fitted so was about right. I am now hoping they will email me with the web site so I can amend it. I feel awful.
Thought I'd put a review up because some have had bad experiences at this shop. I went in today, everyone was very helpful, nothing too much trouble. I'll go back and I'm happy to recommend to anyone.
I found the short fat bloke to be unhelpful and condescending. The younger staff, though, were very helpful. The website is rubbish.
Very helpful staff for a small purchase.
I brought a small speed boat for my son for Christmas which cost £40.00 took it out on a lake yesterday for the first time, it only lasted 50 seconds before the boat filled up with water and decided to cut out in the middle of the lake, so decided to take it back to the shop today, didn't ask for a refund or exchange. The man in charge decided to start arguing with me saying "well its been 4 months" and "it will fill up with water" I explained that I had not had the chance to travel to a lake to try it out before. The man was so rude and augmentative I have never ever experienced anything like in it any shop before, I stated I couldn't actually be bothered to argue with him any longer!! This is a small model shop I was under the impression that small businesses at this current time would have some customer service experience, absolutely disgusting bahaviour. I will obviously never be going back there again :-(
A few miles from me but a top notch shop, helpful and friendly staff with helpful advixe.
I found the staff in this shop very helpfull and they new what they were talking about. They said good morning to me when I went in and then left me to look around ( very important )there was good friendly chat going on between the staff and a couple of other customers. They have jammed alot of stock into a small shop. They had all the railway bits I needed and they seem to discount alot of stuff which is great for the piggy bank. I did see alot of RC stuff as well. Good shop, well worth a visit.
