Came across these guys by accident, Paul the owner was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction, sorted me out, yes, I may have got cheaper online, but I saved money by getting the correct stuff first time......cheers Paul and Tony
Took my R/C proboat to the shop because it had stopped working the2 guys that run the shop were very helpful and friendly they replaced a faulty part on my proboat and had it back up and running in no time at all...many thanks guys. I would without doubt recommnd Heaths RC model shop. 5star.
There are few models shops left and this one is run by enthusiasts. It is hard to get good advice, certianly not from a Chinaman on the internet!! These people really know their stuff. <br /><br /> <br /><br /> Lee - the young lad was British Mono 2 Champion last year, so fast electric boat stuff info is a speciality of the shop.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> Give them a go...
Went into the shop last week,went in to get some advise on which car to buy for my son-wished I never bothered they had nowt in and acted like the just wanted me to go so they could shut the shop ah well their loss and they didn't even mention anything about the local car clubs which I found off the brca website.<br /><br /> So if you need a model shop in Essex go to the clubs first as they can point you towards much better shops than this disappointing he'll hole..
offer help even if part not bought at shop very helpfull asways pleasent prices not bad either recomend for any rc
first of all id just like to say to those that have bad to say about this shop my uncle has been using this shop for years and it has never faild if you dont like it then take a hike it has come through every time and always has what we need good on ya heaths models five ***** :)
This shop is quite good, they don't have much stock but they are really helpful. My nitro car broke so they advised me what parts i needed. I bought a battery, body clips, and two aerial<br /><br /> tubes and it diddnt cost the earth.
staff are arogant,,ordered a roto start after 2 weeks still havnt got one,,shop is virtuly empty,wouldnt go there,,waste of space ??????????
Rude and no help at all, advise you to look else where. Never been to a shop with such poor service.
went in for some body clips........did not have even these basic bits , not much choice of model cars either.
I love this model shop.<br /><br /> They have all the parts i need all the time.<br /><br /> They are very helpful and helped me tune my rc nitro car.<br /><br /> I had phoned them up the first time and asked if they had the parts (they did) they had put them aside for me even tho i didnt tell them i was going to come down :s i walked stright in and said hi and straight away he sed boy with the ansmann virus pullstart he gave it stright to me.<br /><br /> VERY HELPFUL<br /><br /> <br /><br /> 5 *****
I visited this shop looking for spares for my RC Car. They didn't have what I needed in stock, but said they could order them in for me and that they would phone me in a few days when the parts came in. A few weeks passed and I didn't receive a phone call. I decided to call them to see what was going on and they obviously hadn't even bothered to order the parts as they had no idea what I was talking about. I ended up ordering online elsewhere and won't bother to use this shop again!
