I visited Eltham models since the late 70's. It has always been an excellent model shop for at least 30 years all throughout my radio control aeroplane days and supported all us from the Wealden model club.<br /><br /> Wit other shops like Model Zone in Eastbourne and Brighton it is a terrible loss!!!<br /><br /> <br /><br /> I got to know the owners very well throughout tis period although they were not always visible in te latter years. The shop was always VERY well stocked.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> THe owners were always VERY helpful. Let's get the story straight on that one!<br /><br /> <br /><br /> A great shame the yougsters these days prefer to play computer games than build models. Thereagain 10 years ago we were a lot freer to fly our models on the Ashdown forest. Unfortunately it all got ruined by the fences and sheep and too much bureacracy.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> A great shame. I know this is too late but I do hope the previous reviewer was not responcable for the demise of an excellent model shop. Maybe the owners did not faun over the customers but they gave good advice and had good stock.
this shop is horrendous the level of customer aftersales care comes with nothing but abuse and dissatisfaction even one of the so called directors that i spoke to is a rude person and verbally abusive no way would i recommend any new flyer or potential rc novice to use this shop
