I was conned by this individual as well-I put a Star Pond yacht in for re-rigging over a year ago and was cobnsistently fobbed of with excuses when it would be finished-I went into the shop to demand it back and was told it would be back at the weekend as he had it at home-poppycock-I know he has sold it!-So William Mc Donald of **** Kilmacolm PA13 4 SU do you really want me turning up at your door to see what the hell you are playing at?-Oh and your attempt at winding your company up has been stopped -by me-theft and fraud are of great interest to both the Police and Companies House-both of which have been told about your fraudulent directorship and who will no doubt be in touch shortly.

The Paisley Model Shop was closed by the owner, as far as I'm aware. He is selling the contents of the shop on eBay under the name Baby Austin who's location is kilmacolm coincidence? Trading name TWCD Ltd look under companies in the UK, you will find info on the owner.

The paisley model centre has closed down, so you have no chance of getting your money back. The company is registered as TWCD Ltd look up on internet.

Two years ago William McDonald collected a vast collection of model rail it would have a cost of at least £3,000, to buy, I explained I wanted £1,000 for it. I didn't bother him knowing it would take time to sell, from time to time I called, the last time December 2013 at which time he informed me a deposit had been paid and the remainder would be forthcoming in January. I'M STILL WAITING FOR THE MONEY.



He also offered to sell a very large collection of model cars & trucks, some quite rare I expected at least £400 and

hoped it would be more as all the best sets had gone I'M STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY.



Stealing from a widow and pensioner is just about as low as anyone can get. IF anyone knows where he is please contact 07591044792. Many thanks.

I went into this shop to purchase a model aeroplane which, upon completion of building, would have led to an engine and radio control equipment and other accessories being purchased.

A reasonable order, I would have thought. (£200-250)



I was told that the kit I wanted was not in stock, but they would order it for me.



About a week later I rang them for a delivery update, and got a somewhat disinterested answer, to say that it hadn't arrived and he was unable to give any idea as to when it would.

He said I should ring back at the beginning of the next week when he would give me a definite date.



I did this, and again he sounded dis-interested, told me he still didn't know when it would be in, other than it would DEFINITELY be in by Friday.



Although having to travel quite a distance, I decided to visit the shop, after lunch on the Friday.

When I arrived at the shop, and speaking through an enormous mouthful of bacon roll, he told me that it still hadn't arrived.

He assured me that it WOULD arrive that day, and I asked him to ring me when it was in and I would visit again on Saturday or Monday.

He agreed to this, but guess what ------- I never got a phone call.



I waited until the absolute end of the working day and sent a cancellation email.



I went onto Amazon, ordered exactly the same kit, it is £9.00 cheaper, and it has been despatched within 18 hours of ordering.



No wonder the High Street is emptying so quickly.



I shall definitely never try to shop there again.

Best service and set up ever. Also cheapest prices even compared to several on line retailers. Wealth of knowledge from the staff and very patient with a complete beginner like myself. Offered free first service and set up too...!!

Went in with nitro RC car told the guy I needed something some help. Had to wait 5-10 mins, he was friendly enough. Handed me a starter kit. I know little about these things but know they need fuel and glow plugs so asked for these. He handed me them and charged me. Offered no advice, seemed either uninterested or knew nothing about them. After visiting another model shop later that day realised I had been done, i had been charged about 25% more than the normal cost for the stuff. Not going back, better alternatives in Glasgow.
